AFTER THE ASSESSMENT

What happens
after your scan?

Receive your reports, discuss the findings, and understand any recommended follow-up.

Preparing for your visit

Tell EverVita about implants, devices, possible pregnancy and comfort concerns before booking. Follow your package’s preparation instructions; fasting and contrast requirements vary. During MRI, you remain still and can communicate with the technologist. Ask the team to confirm the time needed for your complete visit.

FROM SCAN TO CONVERSATION
  1. 01

    Your imaging is reviewed.

A radiologist interprets your images and records the findings.

  2. 02

    You receive your reports.

EverVita notifies you when reports are ready and explains how to access them securely. Timing varies by service.

  3. 03

    You discuss what comes next.

Your included physician consultation is a chance to ask questions and discuss any recommended follow-up.

Preventive assessments can identify findings that may need further evaluation. They do not replace routine care or diagnostic testing recommended by your healthcare provider.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Explore all questions
When will I receive my results?

The whole-body MRI report is usually available within five business days. Combined-package reports may take longer. EverVita will explain access, timing and consultation scheduling for your selected services.

Which EverVita scan is right for me?

EverVita serves adults 18 and older, subject to safety screening. Discuss your health history and goals with your healthcare provider and the EverVita team. Mention implants, possible pregnancy and claustrophobia before booking. The most extensive package is not automatically the right choice.

What can a whole-body MRI detect—and what can it not rule out?

EverVita’s whole-body MRI surveys the head, neck, spine, abdomen, and pelvis for abnormalities across organs, soft tissues, and major body systems. It cannot detect every condition or reliably rule out cancer. It does not replace clinical evaluation, mammography, colonoscopy, or other physician-recommended targeted testing.

Does the scan use radiation or contrast?

EverVita’s whole-body MRI uses no ionizing radiation and does not require IV contrast. CT and DXA use ionizing radiation; the dose depends on the examination. CCTA requires IV contrast. Your selected package and its safety considerations will be reviewed with you before the visit.

What should I expect before and during my appointment?

Follow the preparation message for your selected package, including fasting instructions where required. MRI involves lying still with hearing protection and communication with the technologist. Contact the team if you need help with comfort or have not received instructions.

Does a finding mean I have a diagnosis?

Not necessarily. A screening finding may need comparison with your history, targeted imaging or other tests. Discuss it with your healthcare provider; follow-up requirements and costs depend on the care recommended.

Do I need a referral, and is preventive imaging covered by insurance?

A physician referral is not required to book EverVita’s preventive screening services in Texas. Preventive whole-body screening is generally not covered by health insurance, although reimbursement can vary. EverVita accepts HSA/FSA funds, and patients should confirm possible reimbursement directly with their insurance or benefits provider. Payment and cancellation terms are shown during booking; review them before paying.
