For a self-pay adult comparing whole-body MRI options in Dallas–Fort Worth, the useful question is what the price actually buys: the areas examined, the radiologist’s interpretation, a conversation about the results, and any services billed separately.

At EverVita in Plano, The Baseline whole-body MRI package is listed at $1,799. That price includes imaging of the head, neck, spine, abdomen and pelvis, structured reporting, radiologist interpretation and a physician consultation. Prices were checked against EverVita’s booking-form configuration on October 19, 2026. Review the current packages and pricing page and confirm your selected services and total before booking.

Why there is no single DFW whole-body MRI price

“Whole-body MRI” is a useful starting point for a search, but the name alone does not tell you whether two examinations cover the same anatomy or include the same review process. A quote for one body part also cannot be treated as the cost of a whole-body examination.

Local package menus illustrate the difference. First Look MRI’s Texas page currently lists Whole Body Gold at $2,099, Platinum at $2,499 and Diamond at $3,099, with different inclusions. These are examples from one provider, not a market-wide price range or a statement that the examinations are equivalent. Check the provider’s current package details when comparing a quote.

A better comparison starts with the clinical question you want answered. Ask a healthcare professional whether a broad screening examination or a targeted test fits that question before choosing by price.

What EverVita’s package prices cover

EverVita offers focused MRI packages alongside its whole-body MRI and broader assessment packages.

The Torso MRI Package is $599.99 and covers the chest, abdomen and pelvis; it does not include the brain or dedicated spine imaging. The Torso & Head MRI Package is $1,299 and adds brain imaging, without dedicated spine imaging. These focused packages have different coverage from Baseline; $599.99 is not the price of a whole-body MRI. Confirm interpretation, reporting and consultation inclusions for the selected focused package before booking.

The broader package options include:

  • The Baseline — $1,799: whole-body MRI with structured reporting.
  • Total Clarity — $3,999: MRI plus chest CT, DXA, blood testing, dental and retinal imaging.
  • Longevity Expert — $4,999: Total Clarity plus brain and neck MRA, additional biomarkers and gut testing.

Radiologist interpretation and a physician consultation are included in Baseline, Total Clarity and Longevity Expert. Advanced Heart, listed at $2,999, is a separate cardiac assessment centered on coronary CT angiography; it is not a whole-body MRI package. Review the detailed inclusions on the pricing page rather than assuming every package contains every examination.

Four things to compare before you choose

1. Anatomy and examination scope

Ask for the actual areas included, any exclusions, and whether a concern requires a dedicated examination. EverVita’s whole-body MRI overview explains its listed coverage and limitations. The word “whole” does not mean every structure is assessed equally or every condition can be detected.

If you are comparing packages with MRI, CT or MRA, ask what each examination adds for your situation. MRI does not use ionizing radiation; CT does. More modalities are not automatically a better choice for every person.

2. Interpretation and the report

Confirm whether the quoted price includes a radiologist’s interpretation and a written report. Ask how you will receive the report and images, how questions are handled, and when to expect the results. An image file, a report and a consultation are different parts of the service; make sure the quote describes each one you expect.

3. The results conversation

A consultation gives you an opportunity to discuss findings in the context of your health history. Before paying, ask who conducts it, what it covers and whether later appointments are separate. EverVita includes a physician consultation in Baseline, Total Clarity and Longevity Expert, but the package description should not be read as a promise to cover every future visit or investigation.

For background on that discussion, read what happens after a preventive scan. Confirm the current arrangements for your own appointment with the team.

4. The total visit and practical arrangements

An advertised scan time is not necessarily the length of the complete appointment. Allow for check-in, preparation and any other selected tests. Ask about preparation, implant screening, comfort concerns, cancellation and rescheduling before booking. If an accommodation is needed, confirm whether it is available and whether it changes the price.

What could add to the initial cost?

The clearest way to avoid surprises is to request an itemized total for the services you have selected. Separate three categories:

  • Optional services: a focused scan or other assessment added to the package. Ask whether it is already included before adding it.
  • Care prompted by a finding: additional imaging, a specialist appointment or other evaluation may have a separate cost. Ask which provider would arrange and bill it.
  • Changes to the appointment: ask about cancellation, rescheduling or other applicable terms before paying.

These are questions to clarify, not a list of confirmed EverVita surcharges. Its public pricing page does not establish a complete fee schedule for every possible accommodation or follow-up service. Do not assume that an uncertain result includes unlimited testing, or that an optional scan is necessary simply because it is available.

Deposit, self-pay and HSA/FSA questions

EverVita’s booking form states that a $250 deposit is due when booking any package through Calendly. The deposit is applied toward the package total, with the remaining balance due at the visit; it is not an extra fee or the full scan price. For Baseline at $1,799, that leaves $1,549 due at the visit. The remaining balances are $349.99 for Torso MRI and $1,049 for Torso & Head MRI. Confirm the selected total and payment terms before paying.

EverVita describes these preventive services as self-pay. Do not treat the advertised price as an insurance copay or assume reimbursement. If you intend to seek reimbursement for any part of your care, ask your insurer what it requires before booking.

The pricing page lists the four main packages as HSA/FSA eligible and advises checking with your plan administrator. Confirm your own eligibility and documentation requirements. That listing does not establish insurance coverage or guarantee eligibility for a separately purchased focused service.

Price is only one part of the screening decision

Whole-body MRI screening is not established as a life-extending or cost-effective routine test for adults without symptoms or relevant risk factors. The American College of Radiology’s position on total-body MRI screening notes insufficient evidence to recommend it in that setting and warns that nonspecific findings can lead to unnecessary testing and expense.

A scan may produce an uncertain finding that needs further assessment. A result without a concerning finding does not rule out every condition or replace recommended screening. If you have symptoms, seek appropriate medical evaluation; a preventive package should not delay that care.

A short checklist before booking

  1. Confirm which examination is appropriate for your concern with a healthcare professional.
  2. Compare the same anatomy, interpretation and consultation inclusions.
  3. Ask for the current total and clarify what would be billed separately.
  4. Confirm preparation, results delivery and appointment-change terms.
